Are you ready to learn more about dinosaurs? Mezosoic Era was amazing! There were different types of dinosaurs, all of them had different characteristics, for example, color and size. Let's to compare height and weight of some dinosaurs.

This activity will help students learn about different dinosaurs. Students will work in groups of 3-4 people. They will have to create a spreadsheet in which they compare height and weight of several dinosaurs. They will use Microsoft Excel. Students will also create a multimedia poster about the biggest dinosaur described in the book. In this case, students will use Glogster, which is a multimedia poster creator.

procedure
Activity A
- Students would be assign into groups of 3-4 people
- Students would discuss their observations with their group
- Then, the groups will be asked to create a spreadsheet in Excel, in which they will hace to compare the height and weight of several dinosaurs
- Teacher will model an example from YouTube to explain how to use Excel. Excel tutorial for beginners
- Students will be given a rubric, that states the requirements needed for the spreadsheet. Excel Rubric
- After the rubric, each group may proceed with there work on Excel
- Then, the groups have finished their spreadsheet, the teacher will make sure the spreadsheet is following the guidelines on the rubric
- After Activity A
- The groups will create a multimedia poster about the characteristics of the biggest dinosaur described in the book How Big Were the Dinosaurs?
- They will use Glogster to create the multimedia poster.
- The teacher will show an example from YouTube, to give the students a better understanding. How to use Glogster
- Students will be given a rubric, that states the requirements needed for the multimedia poster. Multimedia Poster Rubric
- After the rubric, the groups proceed with there work on Glogster
- Then, the groups have finished their poster, the teacher will make sure the multimedia poster is following the guidelines on the rubric.

The teacher will assess the student (According to Spreadsheet Rubric and Multimedia Poster Rubric) in a grade scale from 1-4 points, 4 being the highest number of points that each group can obtain in each activity, the spreadsheet and multimedia poster.
